...we get the most interesting insects and arachnids around my office. I don't go out hunting for these things, and normally I do my best to avoid the so-called creepy crawlies, but every so often, there comes a creature of note, something different and amazing. And half the time they're parked on the sidewalk right outside the door. I never set out to become a bug photographer; the bugs seem to be conspiring to that end just fine, so who am I to fight it?

I carry a small unremarkable digital camera with me everywhere. Usually it's just a tool for work, but it's come in handy for capturing these bugs.

Some I know the name and species, most I don't. So if you recognise anything and I don't have it correctly identified, please enlighten me.

I am not a professional photographer.

I'm not planning on offering any of my photos as prints, but I'll consider it if there's enough demand for certain pics. I keep the raw digital files for all my photos.
